The Visual Arts Museum & Student Galleries will mark the anniversary of our country’s tragic events with an exhibition of art created by the SVA community. The exhibition will be presented in two parts with the Visual Arts Museum displaying work by alumni, faculty, and staff and the Westside Gallery presenting work created by students. The exhibition will be on view for one month with an opening reception on September 11, 2002.
Visual artists in any field may submit work in any medium. A student jury will select student work and a jury of approximately seven arts professionals (who’ll review the work anonymously) will select the art created by SVA alumni, faculty, and staff. An official call for entries will be posted around campus and online at the end of January. Until that time, please wait to contact the Museum & Galleries Office with questions.
